Green Screen Software
You may have had this dream of standing on top of a huge mountain, overlooking a crystal clear lake and a vast
forest. Then of course, you’d like to have your picture taken, so you can get back to that moment anytime you’d
like to by looking at that picture. However, there are a few problems with that – there’s no huge mountain near
where you live, you don’t have the time nor the money to go to such a mountain, and you hate the thought of hiking
up that mountain.
The green screen technique was created with the goal of fusing two images together. You use this technique by
taking a picture of your subject in front a green backdrop, complete with all the costumes and props required for
the image you have in mind. After that, load up the taken image in your computer with a green screen software. The
software selects the green backdrop and cuts it out, giving you the liberty to replace it with any image of your
choice – in this case, that’s the mountaintop paradise. That simple and that easy, and you can do so much with it
after you understand how to work the basics. Click here to try a Free Demo of Green Screen

What you need for this isn’t much. Your personal digital camera, a computer, and the software that handles these
green screens loaded up on your computer. No fancy cameras, no expensive equipment – just those and you’re on your
way to creating exciting pictures.
You can do so much with this technique. The basic thing is getting your subjects onto a location. The
possibilities are endless though – for example, you could create your own magazine covers with this software. Take
your subject’s picture on a green background, replace it with another background, and add text to it to get that
image.
For more advanced users, you can do overlays – basically have the new background, your subject on top of it, and
then something else on top of your subject’s image. Here’s a mental image so you could fully understand that – you
in a Ferrari, behind a window.
Once you get the hang of using this, you can do a lot with these pictures. They make for great gifts, getting
your friends into those locations they have wanted to go to for the longest time. You could even give them a whole
album! And when you get really good at this, you can even make this a business – family portraits, wedding
pictures, invitations, gift items... Like I said, the possibilities are endless with this technique.
Using green screens enhances your pictures in ways not possible with just regular cameras. What’s more, it’s a
very fun thing to do with your friends. It’s easy and simple, so go out and start making those fantastic
pictures!
